Nutty chocolate chalk cake.
Preparing the ingredients. For the dough: 400g flour, 150g sugar, 30g butter, 3tbsp.л. of milk, 3 tbsp.л. cocoa, 2 tbsp.л. honey, 1 tsp.л. soda.
For the cream: 300 ml milk, 300g butter, 100g sugar, 1 cup walnuts, 1 egg, 2 tbsp.л. flour.
Dough. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan mix together sugar, butter, milk, honey, and baking soda. Heat on the flame and cook until the mass has dissolved and lightened. Take the pan off the stove, and add the flour and cocoa, mixing quickly to make a thick elastic dough. Divide the dough into several parts. Roll out each piece to a thin crust and bake for 15 minutes in a hot oven until golden. Cut the hot dough piece onto a plate and let it cool. The scraps are used to decorate the cake.
For the cream: Beat 1 egg and 100g sugar, add 2 tbsp.л. flour, 300 ml of milk, stir thoroughly and heat over low heat, stirring constantly to avoid lumps and sticking. Let the thickened mixture cool down and whip with 300g of soft butter until fluffy.
We lightly toast the walnuts in a pan, crush them with a knife or rolling pin, and mix them with the crushed scraps of cake.
Assembling the cake. Spread generous amounts of cream on each cake and press the layers together when assembling. Spread cream on the top and sides of the cake, decorate with crumbled nuts and biscuit chips.
