Should we try to be like Mom and Dad?
Answer from: Anton Volkov:
Intuitively and subconsciously every child wants to be like his parents. Looking at them, the child learns to walk, talk, perform some simple actions. And for all children, parents will remain role models. Of course, it is worth adopting the best qualities and traditions, useful habits and skills. But it is also worth to learn from the mistakes of parents and draw conclusions. After all, parents are people too, and sometimes they are not ideal.
Answer from: Victor Moor:
It depends on who they are and how they behave, what kind of actions they commit. There are families where one or both parents are drunk and lead asocial lives - I don't think anyone would want to be like them, especially children. If the parents behave decently, why not?
