What is the climate like in Israel?
Answer from: Ilya Levin:
Although Israel is small in area, on its territory can be divided into several climatic zones. Such diversity is due to its rather long stretch from north to south, complex topography, proximity to seas and deserts. Very conventionally it is possible to designate the climate of northern territories as humid subtropical, and of southern territories as semi-desert and desert.
